alarm central locking help

rite guys im fitting my alarm in the 3, got it all fitted apart from the central locking which wires do i have to connect in to. to get the solinoid to work or any advise would be great thanks jon

hi guys, i had a quick search about and came up short.

does anyone know if it would do any damage if i ran a higher ampage battery, rather than the 40Ah thats on their as i have a 60Ah sat in the garage, and the top of mine has started to melt!!!

urgent help needed v6

rite, done the clutch. put it all back together,
can shift through the box fine with engine off!
turn her on put the clutch down and it wont go in to ANY gear at all
but if you put it in gear start it with clutch down, and you can get the biteing point.

HELP!!!!

is their any earth wires by yourair filter, if their is take the bolt out clean up the chassis where they bolt to and the ring clip, or the clip holdong them their bolt it back on, you may have a poor poor earh, which really have you changed,

i find it safer that way easyer to get to, and less wires to risk snagin or breaking

when i have my v6 running after she has warmed up and she is ideling @ around 800/900 if
i undo the oil filler the engine stalls, any ideas chaps i no my rocker gaskets need changing, but i would not of thought that would of been the issue

or you could drop the wires down to the light on the cig lighter! then you have a 12v and a 0v simple cut and test only 2 wires connect them in and enjoy

i have not seen the size on that heated element but i would assume if you can get a small enough one to place top an bottom of the mirror, i cant see a problem of one to fit in the middle as i have not taken the mirror apart on a 3.
as long as it runs on 12 volts should just be a fit and play job ...
