hi, i really need the coolant sensor thats nearest the front of the car it only has 1 wire coming out of it think its for the fan is this right? because mine is snapped off and the fan doesnt come on doh! im in the uk and cant find the part anywhere any help please?

was just wandering if the exhaust system off a 1.6 mx-3 would fit my 1.5 16v japan import az-3 ??? need an exhaust badly but they dont list this car in any places in uk

ive tried my local place and searched the internet for a ECT sensor for my az-3 1.5 dohc 16v 1993 cant find anywhere so i was also wandering is there anywhere in uk ? or if i can use one from a different car like the 1.6 mx3? please help i really need 1

im pretty sure now its the coolant temp sensor, i tried to get one from my local parts place but cant get 1 for my 1.5 anywhere i can buy 1 need asap in the uk.. also i was wandering which 1 is it think there is 1 for the ecu what i need and 1 for the gauge is that right?

wel i took it to the garage to get some codes off the diagnostic terminal, got maf, coolant temp, tps and air temp only 1 i havent messed with is coolant temp could this be the problem? also exhaust is leaking / blowing quite bad in the centre now??

couldnt find any leaks, think i need a better camera lol it is plugged in, dont know the year exactly but its estimated year of manufacture is 1992-1993 not sure because its an import, and is also jap only 1.5 16v engine

any ideas? ive cleaned the tb and checked the fuel filter

yeah its there and the other little sensor that was on the side of the air box, its the 1.5 btw

cars been playing up recently , it wouldnt start at all one day just turned over but i eventually got it going by turning the key and pumping the accelerator and now it just doesnt idle right it idles pretty low about 500-800 id say then it wil dip and shoot up and down and settle again at 500-800 ...

yeah my 1.5l is dohc and sure its about 110hp standard lol

just wandering how many people have got the 1.5 version and how fast they are standard aand what have u done too make it quicker

thanks for that, ive found out how to change the details with the dvla now i just need to prove the exact cc of the car to them now any way i can see b5 on the engine etc?

damn it says its a 1600 on my registration so ive just payed full wack for tax because its over 1549cc but it isnt really, wander if i can change that with the dvla
