Yes- You have the B5 motor.

1.5L DOHC.
wikipedia wrote: 1.5 L 1498 cc) B5 - (78x78.4 mm) - A Japanese-only variant of the B5 with fuel injection and revised head/intake system. Found in the 1989-1994 Mazda Familia Interplay and Ford Laser S. Power output 81 kW (110 PS) at 6500 rpm and 12.9 kgf·m (127 N·m) at 5500 rpm.
although they left out the part where it was also in the AZ-3.

Anyway- Known to be robust little motors... they typicially put down power similar to the BP is my understanding.

Mazda's ZE engines were basically the same as the DE engines. The only real differences in most cases were higher compression pistons and slightly more aggressive cams. The reason you see so many ZE type engines overseas is because they have higher octane gas available to them that we dont have access to here in the US. So you can thank our government for taking away the fun engines ;)

cars been playing up recently , it wouldnt start at all one day just turned over but i eventually got it going by turning the key and pumping the accelerator and now it just doesnt idle right it idles pretty low about 500 id say then it wil dip and shoot up and down and settle again at 500 , also when driving along and if you give it very gentle acceleration sometimes it just dies for less than a second just a little blip this is weird
