Welcome to the forum!

Cars too high though! What are your plans as far as mods go?

The mods i plan on doing are
- KLZE swap ( already have engine ripped apart )
- Possibly ATX to MTX swap
- K Sport Coilovers
- Possible turbo install

Ha, you have no choice. ATX will last about 2hrs with the ZE, with a turbo first time your turbo kicks in ATX is toast. Fine a donor car and do the ATX/MTX swap.

Oh ya, welcome.

I've never heqrd of anyone installing a ZE auto but I do know you have to use the jap harness to make it work. Anyone with any additional (high knee) info to add to this? :D

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

A few have, but you have to run the K8 auto trans since the KL doesn't fit. I can't remember which, but one uses the ECU to control the trans, while the other has a seperate ATX control module (can't remember if it's the KL or K8)

Duncan had a freshly rebuilt ATX trans that he spent $2000 on not long before he put in his DE
fieromx3 wrote:yes i did bolt the ATX trans up to my DE. what had happened is during the swap a lil bit of trans fluid had came out and screwed the trans up and 2 days later it was garbage plus it was only 20,000kms old...
fieromx3 wrote:actually the KL atx is different from that of the K8 ATX..i even came on here before if i could use the 2.5 ATX but it wasnt swappable, the KL operates differently than the K8 ATX but they both are still a big POS
Dali wrote:i had my atx bolted up to the klze, no problem doing it at all, came off the old motor bolted right on............4-5 months later no atx.
