last 2 ze questions...reply sooon..
Alright I'm almost done my swap, the 2 last questions i have are
on my integra CAI there are 2 nipples for hoses i know where the big hose goes but where does the small? Second with the CAI i plugged in my VAF and noticed there is 1 more connection with near it that i also called airbox but i have nothing to connect it to?
And finally, if i am not using my EGR i know there are 2 connections from the left wire harness i don't connect and, IS there 1 on the wire harness near the battery that i don't connect because i have 1 left over connection there i called "under the throttle" and there is nothing on the ze there but it looks like on my old engine its for egr.

3 loose connections total. Two near the firewall for the EGR silinoids and one under the TB for the EGR valve. So sounds like you have it right.
The connecter for the "airbox" is a silinoid that controlls the vaccum line that comes from the small hose on the CAI. It then leads to the intake manifold. The place of the tube is different depending in the intake manifold. Someone else will have to help you as to where on your since I use the ZE intake.

Same for me. If you take a look at the oem set-up there is only one connection for any type of air lines that is introduced between the VAF and the TB. Plug the small nipple. Remember that we are using a modified Integra CAI so therefore there will be a chance of a slightly different set-up. The choice to use the Integra CAi for our car was based primarily because of the number of bends that our system would need to get the cone filter situated inside the drivers side fender well. The Integra CAI has enough run and bends to accomplish this. That other small vaccum line was the last line that leaves the EGR Vent / EGR Vaccum combo set-up. Section F2 in the Online shop manual - page F2-127 in my manual. PCV connection, again section F2, page F2-126 in my manual. Actually it's not a vaccum that it's looking for , but rather an open (semi-filtered/protected) air intake line for those units. That will be completely obvious when you look at the vaccum layout diagrams in the shop manual. There have been a number of members that have posted some good colour diagrams that clearly show this. It may be contained within the attached links that I have provided. It's all there and just a search away for those willing to take the time and make the effort.solo_ryder wrote:I had the small tube on the CAI plugged into nothingNever seemed to have a issue
A pic to illustrate exactly what you want cleared up would help immensely. If it's a 2 wire connector, perhaps you may be referring to the ISC Valve that is located at the bottom of the TB. If your refewrring to the connector whose 2 wires trace back to the larger wire harness right beside the battery that that would most likely be the PRC solenoid connection. The PRC solenoid is connected to the FPR and details on what is does.controls has been covered umpteen times before. A simple search with PRC as your search parameters should give you more details or better still, go to the online shop manual. Here are a number of links that may help you along. Notice the search parameter I used (the =cai part at the end). That took less than 5 minutes to dig up.o0loopy0o wrote: And finally, if i am not using my EGR i know there are 2 connections from the left wire harness i don't connect and, IS there 1 on the wire harness near the battery that i don't connect because i have 1 left over connection there i called "under the throttle" and there is nothing on the ze there but it looks like on my old engine its for egr.
