Sunday Sucked.

Post by Custommx3 »

My wife and I were following her mom sunday night, she was taking my wifes grandmother to the ER. My RS breaks down in the GHETTO!!! Now I dont mind driving through, but my car dying in the middile of the street wasnt cool. I was next to an autozone. After pushing it to a parking lot of a Dairy Queen, I knew it had to be disty related. Called Autozone.. they dont have 1 at that store. I had to call a tow truck to come get it.
Tow truck arrives, wants to lift the front up and tow it. This would crack my bumper.. so I run to AZ, and buy some toosl to take the front bumper off of the car.. no fun, 40 degrees, in the ghetto at night. Got it home. Luckily, we have a 24hr Autozone. They had a disty, went ahead and got new plugs/wires while I was there. Got home, said screw it, I'll fix it tomarrow. I called my boss "I wont be in tomarrow."

It was the disty as I expected, but just shy of 188,000 miles on the original disty (cap/rotor arent that old) I cant complain (except she died on me in the ghetto, lol).

LOL!!! Memphis is Ghetto, lol

Worst Large Cities for Crime (>500,000 pop.)
1. Although Arizona has two of the most crime-ridden cities in the nation, their violent crime rates are relatively low.
Tucson, AZ
Tucson has one of the highest property crime rates in the country, especially larceny. On the bright side, Tucson has a low murder rate.
2. Memphis, TN-AR-MS *
Residents of Memphis contend with the nation's second-highest violent crime rate. In addition, the rate of robbery and burglary are among the nation's highest.

Oh ya, it sure enough does. Got a little sidetracked (read lost) and ended up in some not so friendly area. Couldn't understand why most street lights were out, garbage all over the place, lots of wrecked cars, some up on blocks. Had to get this whitebread a-- and rental 12 pax van outta there pretty quick. Stayed at the Ramada Inn (the one with Molly O'Grady's in it) in the early 80's while attending an Air Traffic Control Course at NAS Millington.

I didn't know there was a racetrack there. Do they use the runways at the Base?

I thought the north American models had the gun rack option

I know the JDM's have the samuri Sword rack option..

well, lets see...

To make matters worse that disty I bought died in 5 days.

Went back to return it, no store in Memphis had another one, it had to be ordered. I told the guy @ AZ to go ahead and order it and I had to PREPAY for another to be ordered + core.

It was supposed to be here saturday.. got here monday

Went to go get it (went ahead and bought a belt for my ZE while I was there) and brought it home...

Its the WRONG PART!!!!!

Call the manager demand my $$ back. I do get my $$ back + core cause they kept my old one. Went to Napa.. cost me $84 for a core fee cause AZ sent mine to a remanufacturer and only gave me $60 for it.

Oh and the belt I bought.. it was the WRONG belt.

Screw AZ!!!

Im expecting a call from the regional Manager.
