Not sure if that TB will mount up to your TB, but the IM will fit.. barley. I had a KL IM on my KFZE. Almost everything else will mount up as far as engine goes aside from the mounts and exhaust. Drivetrain is different except for the tranny, its the same as you have if you have a 5-speed.

You think a probe shifter would work in a GS?

Maybe, but I've never heard of anyone using one and from what I can tell they are different part numbers from manufacturers of aftermarket ones meaning that thay are different in some way.

Don't bother with the Probe stuff if you can get MX stuff. Drive an extra 15 minutes or so to the huge j/y on the north side of 401 at the Courtice Rd. exit (Oshawa/Whitby). Last count there was 9 to 10 MX's there to pick through. Pull and pick Saturday mornings til noon. Exact name eludes me but will edit when I remember.

hgallegos915...

Your referring to a KL intake as a straight neck.

Image

a KL intake is in the back left, k8 is on the back right, and a KFZE straight neck is down front. (same thing as a KLZE straight neck aside from round instead of square runners.)

Will the black vaccum chambers for the vris from a probe work on the k8...I vacum lines connect differently... vris connects to the far passenger side vacum box in the k8 version...but when i used the probe chamber it connected to the driver side vacum chamber...I'm talking about the black chambers that are bolted underneath the IM...the vacum connections for it are different....My idle is a bit jumpy sometimes, and i get the egr CEL on when i'm under 3500 RPM

Do you guys think it could be the chamber?
