alternator problem

when my lights and radio are on and i hit my brakes the radio cuts out and my speedometer drops to zero,but after running for a while it stops and drives just fine.is ther anything else it could be othe than the alt.

Your battery should make up for it, so your bat may be out

i had this problem recently and fixed it just by resetting the ecu. its like the car almost dies after hitting the brakes. Reset your ecu and see if that helps

Hey! That is a problem I am having. The brake thing. How do you reset? Unplug batt?

Yeah, unplug the battery and leave it unplugged for about 1-2 hours, and everything should be fine.

unplug the battery, depress trhe brake to let the taillights drain the power, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back up. 1-2hrs is a little too long.
