While I was browsing the Suzuki Hayabusa(my dream bike).org message board someone had posted that they had taken the factory guage faces out of their bikes and scanned them into their PC then changed the color in photoshop(I think) then printed out the new faces and put them over the factory ones. They said they look like crap at nite with just plain paper, but some others were experimenting with clear sheets. I hope I expained it clear enough, but if I haven't just go to suzukihayabusa.org and look thru the message board. Good luck! Image Just my $.02
BTW- they do have pictures of the finished product on the hayabusa site mentioned above.

Duh, heres my $00.02 cents worth, Yes It can be down but you would need some sort of Led setup in front to get rid of the shadows, It can be seen at www.Mx6.com on there board,
Thats just my $00.02 cent though, Duh

Well I guess we have another dissatisfied costumer! I just thought I would throw out a suggestion unless you have found a company that makes gauge faces for the MX-3 or know a better way of doing it this is the only way I knew of changing it. They do look pretty cool on the hayabusas' so I thought if someone wanted to customize their rides this might be the easiest and cheapest way to do it. I guess next time I will just keep quite and let you spend many nights surfing the internet for something that isn't there. To everyone else you might check it out to see if it is a possibility. Would be great for shows or just out of the norm! There now that is my $.04 worth. I am losing money here! Image Image Image

Th indiglow ones are in the prototype stage, they should be ready today or early next week. I have no Idea on price nor pics. www.speedhut.com are making them for me and will be available for sale once the prototype is finished and we are satisfied with it. YES it will be in KMPH and MPH formats.
------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
custommx3@usa.net
[This message has been edited by Custommx3 (edited June 29, 2001).]

If the corksport gauges r colored and so r the numbers, then how does the light shine through? Can someone give me a list of all the lightbulbs in the dash so i can change to blue? (if possible) thanks, mike

Yes, you can change the lightbulbs behind the stock gauges. I tried it before, and it looks like crap. The stock gagues have a green tint on the back of them, and any change in bulb color makes a hideous color, and it's very hard to see at night. I now have the white faced gauges from SRD, and have blue bulbs behind them. This works and looks great. I also have a company custom making mx-3 gauges (all colors, carbon fiber, etc.) , and i'll let everyone know when they're done...pricing should be about $40/set.
------------------
~'94 GS
