My roomate has nextel, and it sounds good. Guys I have a nextel phone. I live in Louisville and they can't work on the 2 way across the country. I tested them with people I work with and me staying in Louisville it only work up to near Indianapolis... my sister is an executive for nextel, they opened up the entire country now, anyone can 2 way anyone. all you have to do is enter the second set of numbers then a * then the last set so it would look like this 12*3456
