Rotary engine info
I would like to learn more about rotary engines but I don't know where to look. Is there any book or detailed web site I could look at?

Re: Rotary engine info
Try www.rotaryengineillustrated.com , or also try www.monito.com If you really wanted to get into it, go to Ebay and do a search on "wankel" or "rotary engine" and there are usually 5-10 "visible engine" 1/4 or 1/5 scale model kits fairly cheap, putting one together will pretty much show you all there is.. there isnt a lot to them, 2 rotors and an eccentric shaft and a bunch of expensive seals. They can run practically forever if treated right, but if you dont maintain them religiously or if you let it overheat even just once they can be fragile as glass.
[ July 23, 2003: Message edited by: guyaverage ]
