megasquirt 2 v3.0 help

Post by 4gotn »

ok ive already built the ecu and ran most of the wiring harness but am running into a bit of trouble
im running a direct coil setup for now being as im going to install coil packs and a crank sensor and running the pin36 is a no brainer but i know i still have to run the ign wire so that the coil will fire on time (or so im assuming) but im not sure which wire to connect on the disty and am worried about power/ground

if anyone can provide a little info it would be greatly appreciated

that and would you reccomend doing a chassis ground for the sensors/ground return or should i just run the negs straight back to the ms2

ok ive narrowed my choices down to this
there is an sgt, which is primary, and sgc, which is secondary, which correspond with each other to ensure tdc accuracy
my question now is do i need to use both the sgt and sgc signals together on the same line or would just the sgt suffice?????

Yeah. Probetalk people know more. I am MegaSquirting, but am learning, too. I chassis ground mine, and ground everything I do really well.
Sorry I can't help more.
