normally used for smaller displacement engines ie 4 bangers. Might spool a little too quick on a kl. You will probably not be able to use this for a small boost configuration. You'll get some massive boost creep.

depends on alot of factors. If you want small boost Id guess go with just a T3...or a GT25?

it will spool faster, and run out of breath at top end.

BUT

ANY BOOST is better than no boost imo

A T3/T4 Hybrid will be your best bet, look at it this way...To small of a turbo will spool fast but may not hold boost untill redline where you would want it to, To big of a turbo will not spool fast enough therefore you wont be going very fast but might be nice for a Daily Driver so you can stay out of the boost but if you wanted to you could have some fun. It all depends on what you want and what you plan to use it for. The T3/T4 Hybrids are the most commonly used with the KL engines for a reason.

yeah.. t3/t4 was my first plan.. but i had a good deal on a gt28 so I tought id ask...

yeah my plan is pretty much what you just explain. low boost for now, daily driver.. and maybe more boost in the futur.. so my best bet is prob a t3/t4.

what you turbo guys think of this?
(this is exactly what the seller told me)

The Turbo Has No Shaft Play

Its a T3/T4 60Trim with a .63 hot Side
4 bolt Flange

Its a Kinitic Motorsports Turbo made by rotomaster who makes garret

and i would really like 450 Since they are over 800 new

good buy or not?? im trying to get a few part here and there to turbo my car maybe next winter so im in no hurry.

im on a gt28r but its .64 hot .64 cold
on a klze i would look at a gt2870r or something in that ball park, try to stay with a fairly large hotside
or a gt30r possibly, t3/t4 hybrids....quit the ebay talk. gt35.
i wouldnt say a large gt28r would be just fine, it shouldn't drop off up top, definitely not enough to make a difference, but the powerband would be alot better
Orange 95' BPT GT28r, MSII on the way
