Both of those sets of rims are Volks, and I have changed them both...they weigh next to nothing. You can stack all 4 rims with tires and lift them up with minimal effort (unless your Erkel)
If I take all 8, they will probably be a bit more than my Rays, which are not all that heavy.
But again, your right, you pay for that light weight racing rim, there is no doubt about that...and he should heed your advise, DONT SCRATCH THEM. They are sweet.
