strange restrictor(?) in vacuum line leading to TB

Post by se7en »

there is a strange restrictor leading to the Throttle body that I don't know if it has to be there.

I am just wondering if anyone has on of those.

also, does anyone have a photo of where the vacuum lines from the TB go to?
there is about 5 that I can see.

thanks.

Your TB has no vaccume lines, your IM does. You have 2 coolant lines on your TB.

It has everything from VRIS to FPR, brake booster, ect.

I think they have to do with your egr, but i am not 100 percent positive. I cant remember on the k8 anymore. Check out the online manual and you will find vaccuum diagrams that lable everything.

Are you taking about the restrictor thing in the intake manifold behind teh throtle body. It pretty much divides air to the 3 front runners and the 3 rear runners. Its probably knifedged
