Bp vs BPT

Post by Napalm7629 »

Okay im wanting to do a swap on my 1.6 DOHC and I was able to find a 1.8 BP from a Protege. I am wanting to turbocharge it, is this feasible? I also wanted to know what the differences were in the BP and the BPT (other than a turbo of course). and according to wikipedia there were two versions of the BP ....a more performance oriented one with cooling fins on the oil pan and forged internals, and one with just cast internals and a stamped steel oil pan. of course i would go for the more performance oriented one, however if i cant find one of those, is the other one a total waste of time? or does it also have some potential?
