Anybody in Oregon who wants to make some extra $$ ?

Post by wagZE »

So my mx-3 is still sittin in Grants Pass, OR (near Medford). I don't have compression on the no. 5 cylinder so I need a new kl-ze swapped in. I don't want to get ripped off by the shop its at. So I live in WA & it'd cost $600 to get it towed back here. It'd cost me $50 to drive there. So I'd like to drive down there have my car towed to a shop or driveway or whatever, I would just need somewhere to swap in a new motor at. Would take me one full day maybe a day and a half. Or better yet I pay you to do it for me $350?
PM me if interested.

That sounds like a long shot unfortunately for someone to do that, it is almost better to do the work yourself so you know what happens if something is going on. I am sure you can get a truck from someone and rent a trailer, it is not that much youw ould ned up saving some money.

yeah, exactly what they said. doing it yourself is the only way to go. rent a dolly and get it home, tow bills are way to much.

thx for the ideas guys. I have a 99 s-10 but the towing capacity is only 2,000 lbs. Although my friend's truck can tow more. I'll probly end up rentin a u haul car trailer.
