Something is definitely wrong there, those are times I used to do with my 1.6DOHC when it was NA, either the BP engine needs looking at, clutch may be slipping, tranny issues or you need to practice your launching and shifting.

A BP powered MX3 should be running high 15s easily. Certainly at least a flat 16 for sure.

Your 60 ft times are horrible they should be somewhere around 1.9 Where you just smoking tires the whole way down?

yeah and work on your reaction so you can always keep it around .7 or so, thats good for amature, your 60's are too long and it does seem like your got some compression issues or something cause even with those 60's I would of thought you would have gotten closer to a flat 16

hmmm i am spinning tires off the line, and my stock OEM clutch has been in there since i had my SOHC motor which was about 9months ago. so maybe a clutch job and a lightend flywheel will do the job. Thanks

You can test your clutch to see if its slipping. Just get on the highway in a high gear at a low speed and floor it. If the engine begins to rev really high but you aren't going any faster the clutch is slipping. Still work on your launch though a slipping clutch won't make the tires smoke...
