well i went to the local drag strip the other day with my BP mx3 expecting to run high to mid 15's or better, but instead this is how i do..

Something is definitely wrong there, those are times I used to do with my 1.6DOHC when it was NA, either the BP engine needs looking at, clutch may be slipping, tranny issues or you need to practice your launching and shifting.
A BP powered MX3 should be running high 15s easily. Certainly at least a flat 16 for sure.

yeah and work on your reaction so you can always keep it around .7 or so, thats good for amature, your 60's are too long and it does seem like your got some compression issues or something cause even with those 60's I would of thought you would have gotten closer to a flat 16

sounds like your clutch to me94_MX-3 wrote:nah the clutch isnt slipping that bad, but when i shift on the track thats when it slips. it has that sound of RPM's droping then raising.
