ENGINE SWAP NEWBIE QUESTION

I have a 95 mx3 with the 1.8 v6

can i get a engien from a probe gt (2.5L V6) and swap that it ?? if so is it a basic take out old put in new engine or will there br problems with the engine mounts ?

Just make sure and get a OBDII Probe motor and you'll be ok. Read the FAQ and search for other swap pages also. The more you read the less chance you have of messing up and the less time it will take you.

it's a straight bolt in, but you have to exstend a couple wires. if i remeber right went i did mine i had a differant rear exh. manifold, go with headers, you will need the maf from the new motor, it would also be best to get the ecu, not sure about the obd2 stuff never had the mess with yet.
