Speed pulse

Has anybody heard of Speed Pulse, which is suposed to enable the car stereo to turn up the volume automatically as the speed of the car goes up. In the manual for my Blaupunkt Car Stereo it says: "Autovolume, requires a speed pulse"

yeah I've heard of it. Some cars it comes standard.

the problem is you need a sensor in the transmission to sense the speed of the car for it to work. You might be able to use it via the speedo on the GS but I'm not sure

My pioneer headunit has it built in, but I never connected it. I have the radio up loud anyways
