follow up and inquizition
i know this might be like a suspension issue, but based on the 'technicality' of it i posted it here. the problem i posted last turned out to be a busted axel, lol. my question is, with the increased torque, and my poor camber (due to the lowering) can the aftermarket (like autozone) axels handle any/much abuse. the axel that busted was only like 6 mos old (it is also the driver's side) what would be a factor to cause it to bust like that? i didn't hit any pot holes, or anything...

The discount auto parts stores axles are all garbage.
I swear by this place- http://www.raxles.com
They use better boot material than oem and synthetic grease in the joints also. All their axles are guaranteed for life too. I have never had any failures in the axles I've bought from them. Right now I think I've purchased about a 1/2 dozen for different cars so far.

I bought a passenger side one and it ran ~$120. That was over a year ago though so I may be off with the number. This is for sure a case of you get what you pay for though.

i'm running a pair of advance auto remanu'd axles. Over 20k miles w/the car being lowered over 2" and running a KLZE and I have no issues or signs of wear at all.
