The next MX-5 Miata

The next generation of mazda miata will hit the road in 2005 (as a 2006 model). Check out these pics:

They're talking about a 1.8L, maybe a lighweight V6 and maybe a rotary engine. Does anyone have more info on this?

the wheels are exactly the same, even as far as how they are sitting, yes deffinatley a fake.

The second silver one has Mazda 6 headlights. I think this is someone's imagination. The Mazda Co. Japan site shows a coupe version that is already avalable in Japan and is rumored to come to North America.

I work at a mazda dealership (yes i sell mazdas) and the new miata will be based on the rx-8 chasis and they are talking about installing a rotary engine and yes to my knowledege the rx-7 will be returning
