as a daily driver i wouldnt exceed 9 psi of boost. the tranny and engine internals will handle that easily. the clutch may need to be upgraded since it is a weak unit from the factory. it is definately worth it in my opinion. with more tuning and mods better gains are possible in the future. :D

if you rebuild it right, and put good money into electronics and tuning, then you could run daily at ~15 lbs of boost depending on turbo size, which would make one hellava fast car, but its going to cost money.<P>The tranny will be the weak link, but if youre nice to it, it should last a while.

Can you change boost levels from inside the car, say at a red light? If so, wouldn't that be the best thing on the engine? run 5-9PSI, then go to 12+PSI when a nice new red prelude pulls up beside you?
