i just put on my 15" american racing rims yesterday......took off the standard 14's and is it just me? but it feels as if my mx has a smoother ride..i also put on 215 size tires....i may have to lower the car because i don't like how high it rides now because of the bigger rims and tires..anyone got advice on what i should purchase for that project?( yea i am catching flack for all the stuff i want to do with my car too..all my girlfriends are buying new boobs...and i spend all my money on my car.....i'll probably be single real soon here if i don't stop .hey my $$$, my hobby..)
hgcmx3
lovin my rims

You'll get a little better handling, but more depends on the tire size/width, and how stick the tire is. Accelleraion .. NONE, tires dont really effect acceleration.
I cant find a woman into cars which sucks. All the girls I date donest care about cars, and say im Obsessed with my hobby.. My MX-3.
They just dont understand, they deal with it

hey barry!
trust me you'll find one that likes cars..i used to be like those girls all into myself and stuff....but i'm a little older now..and ya realize that there's more to life than sittin around looking pretty...(also that ya can't stop the aging process ...but i'm happy with myself, so it leaves me time to have fun with other projects. maybe ya need an older woman?;0
hgcmx3

putting on 17*s only kills your 1/4 time, although the handling might me a little better, there alot heavier than the stock 15*s , i would stick the stock and save some money
Hey
Do you guys know the max width we can go with stock rims? My winter wheels need new tires. I have a 93 rs.
As for the guys having the girl issues. Don't feel bad i don't understand them either. All i spend my money on is my car and saving for a condo( god do i feel old for 19).
Barry: How so you feel about a long distance relationship? I have to say, I went from the 14' steel, to a 15 alloy, and I can for sure tell the difference, the ride is smoother and are way better than the 14's. I couldn't wait to get rid of the Stock 14, they are so small
------------------
Skiddy
94'MX-3 RS
Emerald Green

i have to say i definately agree w/skiddy....my 15's are much nicer in appearance.... and also the difference in the ride is unbelievable...don't think i'd go bigger though..no need to....i may have to lower her....
hey, can i get the spoiler that you have barry......through like corksport or something? i don't want anything goddy...i like what you have,,,i think that was a standard feature on the gs????
hgcmx3
Have a pic.. hehe j/k
As far as my spoiler, its standard on all GS mx-3's and some RS's. I got mine from a friend w/a wrecked mx-3. You can get it from probably any Junkyard that has mx-3's. Corksport sells them (OEM style) but I'd recommend getting one from a junkyard. Much cheaper.

------------------
Barry Clark
Moderator
1995 Mazda Mx-3 RS
Chaste White
barrykclark.com
barrykclark@hotmail.com
barry-----
well i think i've checked about the whole 3 import junkyards in this area.....and nobody has any mx3's....ya know, i took it to get the idle reset at my local mazda dealer and they all gathered around the car and asked me all kinds of questions about it.....i remember when they sold it to me, and they can't remember the last time they saw one on the road (not to many mx's up here)tons of suv's though
thanx for all your info
heather
I am in the process of finding 16's for my car, but the stocks are for the winter and they are almost bald. So does anyone know the max size(all three ways) that we can go?
