Ideas..........
Anyone know of a good electric motor or lifter for that matter that I could use to lift the top of my sub box? I have this crazy idea....and just wondered what kind of motor it would use.

For about 10 bucks you can get a rechargeable electric screw driver. If you can drop the voltage you can control the speed. Just a suggestion. I have one and alot of people do , the black and decker ones that charge up like 30 times then are trash. If you're looking into building something along the lines of a moving amp rack or sub enclosure in your car, you'll need linear drive motors. They are priced out by how much weight they can lift, and can be rather pricy for good quality. On the upside, they can be operated my remote. Check into a company called Dakota Digital.
