wow, $250USD just seems like a bad deal for a log-style manifold that you still have to weld up a flange for and cut holes in. I'd just go with something custom (and done) from a reputable builder that makes good stuff.
That is the price if you purchase it with it already welded together. If you ...

Re: Tint on tailights
Maybe I am missing something here. If you paint your tail light lens black, wouldn't you totally block out all light?
I can't see how you could paint it black to get the tinting effect.

Re: Auto Launch...?
By droping your car into gear while you are reving up your engine is very bad for the tranny.
The process I posted is commonly referred to as "Power Jacking". This is a lot safer than a "Neutral Drop".

With the nut off you can take a wooden dowel and hit it with hammer on the end of the shaft. That will push out the shaft from the hub.

Re: B6T, BPT, BP???
Is this a daily driver or a track car? I really don't think this is a factor here. I don't believe swaping to a BP or a BPT would qualify as being a tack car. Look at the numerous people who have done it here.

Re: B6T, BPT, BP???
There is a wealth of knowlege for the BP swap here on this forum. Which should make the installation process easier for you.
As for the BPT I believe it would be the same installation proceedure, the only difference would be the price difference between the two.
I personally am going to turbo ...

Holy cow Batman, never neutral drop your tranny. That is a good way to frag it.
One way to do this would is place your vehicle in gear and stage. With your left foot apply the brake while pressing on the accelerator with your right.
Bring up your RPM's just to the point where you think you car ...

Re: HID QUESTION?
Contrary to popular belief the HID system pulls much less current that a halogen headlight. Will this mean I should definitly swap the 70 AMP ALTERNATOR to the 90 AMP?
Halogens draw approx 55 watts where as the HID draws approx 35 watts.

Yeah, most of the folks will reply advising to swap it out with a BP or BPT motor.
However, there is always the Turbo option. I have attached a few pictures from Racing Mazda. It is faster this way as the site has a tendency to be slow.
