Tint on tailights
hey, I searched eveywhere for a tailihg tint product in my town and i can find @#!@, I was wondering if I could just use a black type spray paint on the tailights, kinda like you would use to cover your side markers, also would you apply this to the outside or the inside of the lense?
Re: Tint on tailights
Maybe I am missing something here. If you paint your tail light lens black, wouldn't you totally block out all light?
I can't see how you could paint it black to get the tinting effect.

Re: Tint on tailights
some guy in town here used black primar on his entire car including a light covering on his tail lights... during the day they looks flat black like the rest of the car but at night you could see the lights just fine... it was actually pretty sweet

Re: Tint on tailights
Note: in a lot of places (Including BC, Canada) it is illigal to tint your tail lights are it breaks the SAE rating on them.
