92 GS v6;
the hold flashes as soon as I put the shifter in any of the forward drive (D,L,S) slots but not in reverse and does not move past the first gear which I hardly get any power (torque?)out of anyway. Is she dying?
Started after a 250 mile trip.

is it possible to directly bolt an auto tranny from 93 4cylinder protege onto a 92 v6?

92 v6 automatic; hold lights starts to flash as soon as I put her in drive. She gives me little power and won't shift up from first gear. Everything was fine untill I drove up 250 miles from VA to NY. How do I disconnect the HOLD function?

Only 1year on tires too.
I just did the O2 sensors.
No rust at all.

i've got the stck 92gs 205 55 15 and threw on
205 60 15 cuz they were cheaper. I know that those will allow for 205 50 15 (pricey) but not sure of wider still.

exactly when is it doing this. WHen you slow down or rev up? more info...

I have an utomatic transmission, how do I flush the torque converter then you mentioned?

Open side plug and start pumping in until it starts running out. Put plug back in. It's not like an automatic tranny flush which ...

YUP. My honda is that clean with about the same mileage.

I didn't go with full blend but I did add a little regular oil. Leaked a little at first with 5w30 but no more leak or consumption but still ticking. She has over 160,000 miles.

I was having trouble too. I used a 7/8" box end wrench borrowed from autozone after spraying some lubricator. Hard but worked.

I flushed the engine with 1/2kero,1/2oil 3times. By that 3rd time (it was 1/2gunk, 1/2oil), the oil mix came out clean. I noticed that on the last turn, the tapping was on and off in 3sec intervals. With the oil back in the tapping is back but lower. It drives me crazy!!! Threw synthetic in her and ...
