i was crusing on the highway and suddenly i smelled something burnt, took a look at the temp gauge and it had went up to about 80-90%,
i only had about 5miles to my garage so i kept going.. in about 3miles i see smoke comming from the hood so i stopped the car at the side of the highway..

i had very much the same problem on my mx3, it didnt start and smelled a lot of gas, when i pulled the fuelpump fuse and cranked it a bit and the reinserted the fuse i could start the car.. then i adjusted the tps the problem went away .. try that!

sounds like it could be a air leak somewhere in the vacum system , hear any whistling sound at idle?

Hi , i have a mx3 -93 with a kl03 engine..
the problem is that when i drive it about
5miles white smoke starts to come out from
the left side of the hood.
Temp meter is in the middle posistion as
always and i dont have any white smoke in
exhaust.. so it's probably not the headgasket ...

problem fixed, i changed the fuses one by one and it was the tail light fuse that was blown , but you couldnt see that when it was in the box

damn i think the same thing happend to me today, i was changing head unit and the "interior light" cable going to stereo touched ground.. and the gauges went black, no fuses was blown .. anyone know what to do? thanx

i did cut the bottom end of it and now it goes smooth as a duck *** :p P , thnx bro

it can be kinda tricky to get the fuel/temp meter in place but if you turn the fuel needle 180degres it can be done almost painlessly..

what small end? , on the gauge face or the needle ? if it's on the gauge face it would be very helpful if you could mark it in this picture , Thanx! /Jari<p>

i installed the indiglo gauges today and now my rpm needle seems a bit "slow" on updating the actual rpm, the speedometer works fine tough..
