Lights messed up due to Gauges Exchange
Lights messed up due to Gauges Exchange
Ok I was installing these gauges on my precidia and they are reverse glow I wasnt too sure what to connect to the proper power source so i tried one of cables that went into my cluster the middle cable with the red and black wire on it I connected thinking it was my power source for the lights and interior (heating signs and everything thast glows green when lights are on) however something went wrong and my interior lights dont work like original gauge light and heating signals light and cruise controll too and I just found out my Rear lights dont turn on... I have alarm that works and all lights flash when I arm disarm so its not the bulbs is it just a fuse and if yes where is it located if not what could this be and who fixes this...I tried a local perfomance shop they turned me down I dont wanna go to canadian tire.....

Didn't the instructions tell you to wire these up with the parking lights?
How to find parking light relay: stick head under dash (on driver's side), turn headlight switch to the park position, and listen for relay that clicks.
I guess this is a technical question since it's causing you problems but it's proper place is probably the appearance forum.

Re: Lights messed up due to Gauges Exchange
Ok i'll break this down in steps
1. Check the fuses in the interior fuse box
2. Check the fuses under the hood
3. If no fuses are burnt, you more than likely cooked a relay and that could be hard to find.
4. (and most important!) Use periods, i couldnt read this post for the life of me!

problem fixed, i changed the fuses one by one and it was the tail light fuse that was blown , but you couldnt see that when it was in the box
