Re: Speaker Setup, need more bass!
I took it back to the shop to ask the guys there about it and they said that one of the speakers was wired backwards in the box. (Aparently they forgot to tell me) So I plugged it back to the amp out of phase. Flipping one of the speakers fixed the problem. And with the mono bridge they are loud ...

Speaker Setup, need more bass!
I just bought a set of Audiobahn 12" AW1251Q (400RMS) speakers in a box and had them put in and wired to my Rockford Fosgate Punch 225.2 amp. I was hoping that they would be extremely loud as I have heard this amp when in a mono bridge can produce around 800 watts. They wired it up in stereo 4 ohm x ...

Re: Muffler
There's alot of information about this already posted. Search for muffler or exaust..
I did the same research earlier this week and one of the best setups is to get custom 2.25 or 2.5" pipe from cat back with a flowmaster 40 resonator, not sure on the tip.
There are a few prebuilt systems ...

Re: 92 GS For Sale. Lots of Mods.
Damn! I just bought 93 GS SE from Atlanta and drove it back to NC. $3500 and it had same milage w/no mods. My old red 93 GS was totaled by a friend who I foolishly jerked the steering wheel of the DD that night while arguing with her. (I was still at the bar)
Oh well, I've already invested nearly ...

Ebay O2 Sensor Mods?
I hate to ask this because everything I know tells me this is too good to be true. However I can't find any information through the search feature.
There are many places on Ebay auctioning these O2 sensor mods which claim a 15-20 hp increase. It claims to work by richening the fuel mixture.
Here ...

Re: repaired front right bearing
I had the same thing happen with my old 93 GS, I thought it was an axle at first so I had them check it out but the axles looked fine, the noise was coming from the wheel bearing. They got the bearing for $60 us and installed for $115. That thing was LOUD! Almost as bad as when the muffler rusted ...

Advance Timing Help
I want to advance the timing on my car, but I've gotten alot of conflicting information from the boards. Does anyone know for certain if this is possible or will my ECU always set the BTDC timing at 10 degrees? (standard for K8) I've read through my Chiltons shop manual and it seems simple enough ...

Re: Custom Intake Question

It clamped itself right on the PVC with no problems at all.
The intake sounds great and I have no more idleing problems. I've only got a few other stupid questions..
I used the 3/4 ...

The FAQ section has been very helpful for me to do some cheap mods to my car without killing my bank account.
My car recently started having idle problems it would bounce at ...
