Ryan thank you for the response. I was told I needed the bp harness but if the the b6 harness works than great.

So then will the b6 harness plug right into the megasquirt for the bp protege?

alright guys i honestly don't know what to do on this.

i have a bp .40 over running precision 5431E turbo and i don't have the wiring harness all i got is the stock 1.6 harness and im getting ready to order megasquirt.

i've tried everywhere to find a bp harness but i can't.

cant get passed 4k rpm when idleing or driving, when i got it to 4 1/2 and let off it backed fire.
the check engine light isn't on and i just changed the fuel filter.

so what should i start testing?

alright i just bought this car its all stock with the b6 and tranny, its a 5 speed
and it just wont budge into reverse. its like right before the gear its a wall.
it goes into all the other gears just fine with no grind.

lol i like the respect around here and you dont have to tell me twice about ricing out a car lol i dont belive in all that plus to many riced out honda civics around here still running stock motors...im more a black on black kinda guy so no chrome lol

well i will have to try that trick but the motor is already coming out so i can drop a bp in it and i will most likely put another tranny in it

hows it goin guys, im Caleb and live in the middle of the states (Kansas), i came her because i just bought a 95 mx-3 for super cheap, cant beat 500 bucks. but it does have its problem like no reverse and wont rev past 4k rpm and even if its in gear but no problem its a project car. im not a noob ...
