'94 K8 ECM bad input
My ECM crank angle sensor got fried when the timing belt idler pulley bolt broke, and the pulley clawed it's way out, shorting the sensor harness.
I've fixed the timing belt, and replaced the sensor, but the ECM does not see it. (yes, I reset the error code). The car is running ok, on the sensor in ...

ECU code 09 help
I have a water Temp sensor error code. There are 2 water sensors, and a third temp sender for the dashboard. of the sensors, one is green and beside the dash sender, and the other is black and beside the filler cap.
How do I know which temp sensor it is?
Thanks,
Jim

Re: High fuel consumption
Now i check to front o2 censor, blue pin and gnd. It says -0,02 volt constant, and when i do the same thing on the back censor the volt continuous goes between 0 and 0,9. So i think that the front o2 censor must be dead?`

Re: Engine overheat damage?
You might as well try it. Mine overheated a few years ago due to Thermostat failure, but I shut it off right away. Then, about a month ago, it happened again, due to not haveing enough antifreeze. This time I ran it on "H" until I got off the freeway. I've heard of these engines being okay after ...

Engine overheat damage?
I just bought another MX-3, a 1993. Overall good shape, new tires, new from dealer starter, good enough value for $300.
The reason he sold it is he overheated the engine this past summer, and "it gradually slowed down and stopped". I looked, and the PS/water pump belt is missing. It still cranks ...

Re: power window and sunroof not working
If the driver's side window works, the fuse for the windows is ok. Be sure the "enable passenger window" switch is in the correct position on the driver's side control.
Skylight is probably a seperate issue. The switch itself seems pretty prone to failure, not distinctly clicking when you rock it ...

Re: nearly stalling... any ideas?
I'm not sure the 4-cyl has an idle air control, but that would be my first guess, stuck or broken.
