ECU code 09 help

I have a water Temp sensor error code. There are 2 water sensors, and a third temp sender for the dashboard. of the sensors, one is green and beside the dash sender, and the other is black and beside the filler cap.

How do I know which temp sensor it is?

Pretty sure it's the main CTS. Don't remember off the top of my head, but I think it's the green one. Black one is only there to turn off the cooling fan and I think the code for that one is 69. Don't think there's a code for the dash sender. When it's bad you can usually tell.
