maybe the timing belt slipped? or you crank shaft positioning sensor... that's what I had with my 4-cyl

is your MAF plugged in all the way?

try using an electric contact cleaner on it to make sure its a good connection.

WD-40, spray it down and see if that helps, If it's too rusted for that you'll have to replace the handle, shouldn't be too hard.

Didn't mean to sound hostile, wasn't going on the defense, just trying to clarify what I said (I get pretty confusing at times, my own track of thought).

Anyway the reason I was saying that they free up power and not give power is so when someone see this in an ground wires advertisment ...

that may be a mistake, check it out before hand with a mazda dealer.
they do have methods of removing snapped bolts, they probably have the tools at the dealers as well.

like underdrive pullies don't give you horsepower, they free up lost HP.

A turbo gives you HP, nitrous gives you HP, but grounding the car only prevents HP loss.

i wasn't saying they weren't worth doing, I started the post about how well they work.
I was just saying the above because if you go by dyno results and HP gains posted in the advertisements you'll probably get screwed.
The only reason i bought some from ebay is because they have a smaller guage ...

For peoples who need clarification, Nothing in your Ignition system actually boosts your HP!
any that claim too are just using advertising!

The True Problem:
Your ignition system is what gets the car going and keeps it there. parasitic loss occurs when your car isn't properly grounded or ...

raining today so i've changed intakes, but i definitly get more pull at higher RPMs (4000+).
Also the engine runs smoother throughout the power-band.
probably the best $25 dollars i've spent on the car.
