Stablo87 - It's an automatic trany, I wish it was a stick

Superk - new plugs & wires, so I 'm thinking distributor. unless there is a spark control module. Which I don't know if this car has anything like that. (no book)

new mx3 owner in a state of confusion

After having my car stolen & totaled, my neigbor gave me a 94 mx3 & said if I can get it running I can have it for free. Car was running worse & worse till 1 day it just wouldn't start. (this is where I get the car) The car won't start (no spark) & I can't find any haynes manuals on this car localy ...

Does this work with 4-bangers, or is this for 6 cylinder engines only? (mine is a I-4 auto)

Moving from pre 70's Mopars to a 94 mx3 is a little bit different than what I'm used too. Anyways like I said, I'm not getting spark & thought it might be the coil but noticed that the coil is built into the distributor. Is there any way to fix this this without buying a new distributor ...
