SOHC 1.6 (cuz i`ve seen a rally-style 323 GTR with 450hp!)...the engine has 80 000 kms on it but i still consider swapping it for something with more potential...i wonder which of ...

I had the same prob 2 months ago...90% sure it's wheel bearings ... that goes for around 80 $CAN (bearing comes with new hub) not counting job time, but it's easier to do it yourself, or with a friend. It's normal for the Engine thermometer to read low temperatures(especially with a aftermarket or home depot intake). To heat up the engine faster, it accelerates idle speed. It's just normal engine operating procedure. It would be more of a problem if it didn't do that!

I think that bent metal thing is to warn you that you have worn out brake pads...I hope that that wasn't the case... or you'll see sparks while braking... : )

The 2.5 KL-ZE is actually of a very similar (not to say the same) engine block as the north-american KL. And this one in turn resembles the 1.8 K8 ... That's why it looks like yours and thankfuly, FITS INTO THE MX-3!<P>I think i'm not too mistaken...

The whole thing you need continues behind the plastic center console pieces. you can get one easily at a local scrap yard real cheap (don't forget to NEGOTIATE! they get their cars almost for free...) you'll probably have to remove the center console pieces before installing the whole thing...refer ...
