I'll come out and say this will be my first turbo car. I have done the whole n/a thing. If i go pick up a turbo from the wreckers do i just bolt it on plug it all in and go? or do i need a boost controller or anything else?

I kinda left the forums bc i rolled my mx-3 rallying...
But i just picked up a 89 probe gt 2.2l turbo. first off i know the turbo is gone bc the oil feed line is ripped off and clamped. But it has everything there and hooked up. My question is should i replace the turbo completely or try to ...

I have a 93 mx-3 with a bp and pro lx tranny swapped in..
i'm parting out the entire car......The car has a bent frame
As far as performance goes everythings been sold except for the Cold air intake(CAI)
the tranny has 90k on it and the axles and clutch have 500 miles on them.....

FYI i live in ...

if a head gasket is blown is it required to get the head re-surfaced or can the gasket just be replaced?

you don't have to follow any procedures.....set your cams on the comp stroke that it will tell you in your manual then just set cyl 1 to TDC pop your belt on and your set

well i'm getting a 4ag with it and a gts rear end so i'll have 120hp with a lsd....so it should be pretty sweet......
i'm getting a killer deal though basiclly 1k for the SR-5 with the 4ag(60k) to swap in extra tranny and a gts rear end it's sweet

I was rally racing and I got on 2 wheels then went over the rail and flew into a ditch....It was badass.... i'll post some pics soon

yeah thats my plan....because He said he paced me from road A to Road B......but i was sitting at a stop light at Road A..........somehow my 130hp mx-3 was going 70 off the line dammmmmm......

ok well i got pulled over the other day.....
I live in AZ where if your going 20+ over it's a criminal offense(felony conviction).....
THe cop said he paced me from this road to another road going 70..the speed limit is 35.....
So i got this paper arrest thingy....

would it be possible to use a miata rear end engine/tranny to convert the mx-3 to a RWD set up?
I was lookiing at my dads miata and....well the possibilites woould be sweet....a RWD mx-3 would be bada$$

umm, first off the only reason we have front wheel drive cars is because they are more efficient........not because they are fast or handle well lol
