This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

ok so i'm testing a design out but i need some help.
ok i'm making my own gauge faces for my mx but i need to know 3 things/requests
1. is there any one with a set of glow gauges that they haven't installed yet ?

2. do you have a scaner?

3. and this is more of the request could you posiably scan in your gauge faces (keep at actual size) and then e-mail me a copy of the file

ok so that it i hope you guys can help

Not sure if this is what you're doing, but....I made a set by scanning the stock gauges and then reversing the colors out of some glossy kodak photo paper. Didn't stick with them though because even with colored bulbs behind them, i could see some of the shadowing off the actual gauge hardware. This was with removing the stock gauges and putting those in it's place. I also tried putting the paper over the stock gauges for a little while but it sucks to drive at night since the gauges are so dark.
SOLD - 93 GS Custom intake, exhaust, phenolic spacers, port matching, front upper strut bar, 17" wheels, dragon body graphics, black/white interior, sound system, tints, altezza tails & 3rd brake altezza, g-force front

'94 Caprice - rolling fast and low on 20's along with some custom goodies

'86 Regal - Hydraulics, custom wheels, custom paint, shaved, phantom top, leather, power, and lots of chrome

'92 - New import project in the works, should be out in '09

sort of the idea but i'm using vellum paper which is a smoky white and transparent it's also a bit stiffer then kodak paper and i want it set up so at night you can see the gauge hardware moving around

Sounds good. Thats what i didn't want so i got rid of the photo paper ones and bought some indiglo's. How transparent is the paper? Definately interested in pics.
