Re: MX-3 DVD??
supz, whats everyone else's ftp speed, i used to live in a building which we had access to an OC3 line, but i am stuck with a 3 meg cable now, which the upload speed is like 35 or 40 max! if anyone has faster ones, i will turn it over to them!
latez

Re: MX-3 DVD??
Yeah, but we aren't exacly autocrossing and we don't have official permission to use the parking lot, but we aren't exacly street racing either-there is never anyone around. I guess I'll just send in footage and whoever is editing it can decide if they want to use it.

Re: MX-3 DVD??
yeah...send any and all footage in. We'll determine if it will get into the DVD or not.

Re: MX-3 DVD??
I got 22k/ upload but my ip is static, kev you need to get a DNS but I am pretty sure they cost some coin, no idea, but what a DNS does is enables you to have something that people type once and it automaticly updates your IP so people don't have too keep getting your IP

Re: MX-3 DVD??
I was checking out what files were in the FTP, and someone's uploading MTV Street Racer and Mischief 3000. We can't use these videos in our DVD, since they're both off topic, and copyrighted. They're just taking up valuable hard drive space. ***PLEASE ONLY VIDEOS/PICS OF MX-3's THANKS***
-Mike

Re: MX-3 DVD??
Barry: when do you think you'll get that raw footage together?
**************
Kuruption: make a music folder in the ftp for the soundtrack. What you should do kuruption is every week burn everything on the ftp to a cd and then empty out the ftp. That way the space will stay open.
**************
Everyone: if you've got any music that ISN'T COPYRIGHTED(music made by yourself or a friend of yours) and you want it in the MX-3 DVD submit it for review to kuruption's ftp (see above, a few posts ago) along with a text file naming the song and the band. save the sound file and the text file with close to the same name so we can tell which text file goes with which music file. Try to get the music file into .mp3 format. If that can't be done, get it into .wav format.
Thanx
Mike

Ive asked him to capture it for me, and he said he will, when, hopefully soon.
HEs supposed to put his Headders on his PGT@ my place friday, maybe he'll bring it to me then. Re: MX-3 DVD??
Barry: I might be able to hook you up with an FTP of one of my friends. I'll have to check that it's ok with him. It'll only be for your use though, no one elses, so don't give away the username and password. I'll send you either an e-mail or private message with the FTP address, username and password once I get confirmation that I can use it temporarily.
*****************************************
I'm getting a new Dell computer this week and I'm off from Dec. 18 to Jan. 23 so I will be able to work on the DVD most of that time although I'm gonna be in Tucson, Arizona from 12/23-1/3 so during that time I won't be able to work on it, but the rest of the time is open. Is anyone working on music? I also need some title suggestions. I'm gonna try and photoshop a picture of the main menu so everyone can see what it will look like.
