Woo hoo, I know where to get a rebuilt T3 turbo and intercooler for my car. 100USD. That would work on a 92 GS V6 right?

I will be swapping, a KL or KL-ZE when I get the money, but for 100+ US, how can I say no on a turbo?

because its not just 100 bucks. Ok, so you get yourself a turbo.<P>Now, you still need: (bare minimum and i still may mis something) <P>custom exhaust manifold<BR>custom exhaust system & downpipe<BR>piggyback ecu<BR>RRFPR<BR>blow-off valve<BR>egt/boost gauges<P>youre looking at a couple of hundred dollars right off the bat on the manifold.

And yes, if you opt to go for a turbo manifold, the cheapest I have found is $450. It's not just $100. You will also have to plumb the system. You're still into it about $900. I can get KLZE's for $850 plus shipping. The only thing about doing a turbo rather than a KLZE is you don't have to save the money. You can buy piece by piece.

And a custom flange is a little cheaper than a custom manifold.<P>Also, I'm not too sure about this, but don't you need both banks running the turbo? And if that's the case, then you don't need to mount it to the manifold anyway, you would need to mount pipes from the manifold, to a y connector and then mount that to the turbo. Given the distance the turbo would be from the motor eventually would be a good place to put it.. but just think of the possiblities once it does spool
