Woo hoo, I know where to get a rebuilt T3 turbo and intercooler for my car. 100USD. That would work on a 92 GS V6 right?

I will be swapping, a KL or KL-ZE when I get the money, but for 100+ US, how can I say no on a turbo?

because its not just 100 bucks. Ok, so you get yourself a turbo.
Now, you still need: (bare minimum and i still may mis something)
custom exhaust manifold
custom exhaust system & downpipe
piggyback ecu
RRFPR
blow-off valve
egt/boost gauges
youre looking at a couple of hundred dollars right off the bat on the manifold.

I can get KLZE's for $850 plus shipping. The only thing about doing a turbo rather than a KLZE is you don't have to save the money. You can buy piece by piece.

And a custom flange is a little cheaper than a custom manifold.
Also, I'm not too sure about this, but don't you need both banks running the turbo? And if that's the case, then you don't need to mount it to the manifold anyway, you would need to mount pipes from the manifold, to a y connector and then mount that to the turbo. Am I correct?
Also, you can swap the turbo from the k8 to the KLZE when you get it.
[ June 30, 2002: Message edited by: VizualXTC ]

Given the distance the turbo would be from the motor eventually would be a good place to put it.. but just think of the possiblities once it does spool ;)
