Bp is in.Engine fuse blows

Post by DeadMaker »

After the bp swap(Engine ecu and harness from 323) the engine fuse blows every time the key in the ON.The car is in the mechanical store
I have put bigger fuse but still goes down..
I disconnected the ecu(two plugs) and still the same.I took out the relays from the fuse box but still the same..
The engine was working in the donor car.No problem.
Is there something else is missing?Any different connection must be done ιn the fuse box?My car is B6DE model.

Obviously you have a dead short,,,big time. Check things like your starter wire for proper connection. Check your battery leads as well. Is everything ok with the key in the acc position?

BP uses a 15a fuse vs the 10a for B6 but you definitely have a short somewhere.

It was the harness inside in the cabin the problem.
We had to change the position wires in the clip to make it work.It was all messy..
The wire which carried current was connected to another wire which had also current..
All the wires had to remove and reconnect each one in the right order..
