After talking to Mooneggs he told me to fill the tranmission oil with a hose.
It worked, but it seemed very strange to me.
What do you guys think?

Re: Filling tranmission oil
Gear oil is extreamly thick... If you are going to use a hose and funnel warm it up.. If am doing that kind of thing at home I let the gear oil sit in a bath of hot water( I usually fire up the kettle and once the water boils I let the oil sit in it for 15 - 20 min while I drain the transmission and do other things).. This will make it flow faster...
All though if I can I use a hose like you are doing stick it on the end of the gear oil bottle and squeez the livin crap out of it and push the fluid in...

Re: Filling tranmission oil
I bought like a 2 dollar plastic liquid pump thing and filled it from the bottom while the car was up in the air. It was a little faster and it looks like your whole front end is off and you have a ton of room. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/sma ... E%20FLUID!

Re: Filling tranmission oil
I bought a long funnel and filled it from the speedo gear hole. I use 75 - 90 Redline gear oil
best stuff on the planet IMO

Re: Filling tranmission oil
This is exactly what I do as well. An "accordion style" funnel works well, since it can be twisted to fit in a tight space.Josh wrote:I bought a long funnel and filled it from the speedo gear hole. I use 75 - 90 Redline gear oilbest stuff on the planet IMO
Good choice of gear oil btw
