Shift issue

When i change gears its more harder the most cars i have driven. I have a MX-6 with a v6 as well and it is SO easy to shift compared to the MX-3. Is this normal? It takes a hard shove to get into reverse. If im still moving i can never go into first even though the RPM's are super low and im going super slow. I would have to stop completely. With the MX-6 i dont have to do that. Do i have a problem or is this normal behavior from the MX3......

That's normal 100%, can't explain why your Mx-6 does. Reason being 1st (and reverse) are non-syncrod gears, so you can't unless you rev matched manually or double cutched maybe.
My Mx-3 was like that
My Xterra is like that
My Rx-8 is like that, but it's pretty good, it's probably a design feature because of the low torque of the motor and needing first more often than your regular piston engines.

My other MX-3 (the 96) shifted easily and smoothly, my 92 MX-3 is a little stiff and I don't like it either. I thought it may be those bloody bronze shifter linkage bushings. The new plastic ones in my 96 were perfect. Anyway you can try bleeding your slave cylinder and checking your pedal linkage to make sure your getting full travel when you step on the clutch pedal. My 5 cents
