Does it ever end.....

Post by kulluminati777 »

I mean i thought i was done years ago and would just have to upkeep the care of having an old car I.E. maintenance, gas, repairs and other fluids but as the time flies by and i stop to reflect i have realized i may never stop. I still plan on a de or ze swap and a new fresh paint job when i get to the states and just when i think thats it i buy a carbon fiber hood or something else that awhile back i never thought i would want to have. So i just guess ill never be done modding....

Are any of you officially "complete" with your mx-3?

I thought I was done when I did my ZE swap...then I decided I didn't like the suspension...which led to a year of bushings...and then a year of brakes.

If it ends you're not trying hard enough.
94' RS/GS/MS/CF Monster Turbo...coming soon.
93' GS SE, the Black Beast, the former love of my life...soon to be gutted and crushed.
94' GS, black on black, now in several small pieces...and one large crushed piece.
2007 Mazda3 GT Sport --- super fun
2004 Honda RC51 --- Lost forever to some theavin' bastard

It'll end for me with 250 NA BHP, a CLEAN body/paintjob, Leather seats, bigger brakes, and a few MazdaSpeed goodies.

All in all, about $5,000 out from where I sit right now, if I'm impatient and buy things as soon as they pop up.

I still say I can do it for $3,500 though. ;)

yeah wow its crazy i never thought it would be like that, i mean i remember just having the mx-3 the first time and not wanting to change a thing and now mine doesn't look to much like an mx-3 at all. I love how there are others that share my "addiction". Friends and my wife dont get how i say "after i get this or do that im done" but never stop. I think if i ever lose the car or not want it i would have rebuilt the entire car from the ground up and improved and replaced dated parts or there is something better that comes ect ect. My wife's really gonna hate it once i get my hands on a FD3S because the tuning market is not as limited as the mx-3 with that platform its damn there endless   but as corny as it sounds i see me passing the mx-3 on through the family and as long as theres junk yards the A-SPEC mx-3 will live on!!
