I have the intermitten beeping issue going on from a problem with the seat belt center console sensor.
It had a lot of wear on the metal traces of the circuit board so i went ahead and fluxed/re-soldered the
board like I used to do on worn Atari joysticks back in the day.
One thing I haven't been able to figure out, is there a position this thing is supposed to ultimately move to
to stop beeping in a large range? Every time I move the contact disc around in front of the board I can get it to stop beeping
but only in a narrow range. You move back and forth a little and it starts beeping again. Maybe I just haven't figured out
the position it should move to to provide a larger range of belt movement?
I know an option is to permanently wire around the switch and keep it from ever going off. I'm so used to not messing with
seat belts every time I get in the car, one of these days I'll have it unhooked and probably never notice without the sensor so i'd
rather try to keep it working first.
Has anyone else messed with the position on this thing and is there a wider range position? (you would think there would have to be, I just haven't found the right position).

Re: Seat Belt Sensor Center Console
switch to manual belts or do the wiring mod trust me everything will still work just fine if you do.....both easy and both worth it
