B6t engine with a Protege GT transmission.... Need Help !!!

Hi to all

I need a bit of help i have a Protege GT transmission in my car a mazda mx3 with a b6t engine all working well at 15psi of boost but since i have the car my spedometer is not working so i have installed a mazda 92-93mx3 sohc mechanical cluster my question is is the mecanical speed sensor will fit in the protegeGT transmission? i have tried tu put in but look like it is not enterinf entirely in the transmission.

Reason for not adding the electronic speed sensor from the protege/escort GT was simple it was just unvaliable to found for a decent price on the web, so i have bought a mazda mx3 sohc sensor with the cluster.

The mechanical sensor won't fit in the G series transmission.

You can pull a speedo sensor from any K engine transmission though, it should be the same, as they have the same series transmisison (G), but maybe not, with the different final drives, etc.

The only one I know that will fit for sure is the BP transmission one.
