Here is my car when I first bought it

Image

Image

Image

Image

Happy is a kid in a candystore.
Even though I bought it I had to do some repairs. The exhaust had to be completely replaced and some more stuff. Of course than I didn't know about forums yet.

Image
Image

I started changing things about the car.
Altezza lights
Some meters
Painting interior stuff

Image

But than, less than a year after I bought the car, it appeared to be using quit a bit of oil.
As a student I wasn't the most rich person but also didn't want to part from the car.

So a KLZE was bought.

Somebody in a famous movie once said "With great power, comes great responsibility"
For me with great power comes great stopping power :)

Sandler brake discs
Ferode ds2500 pads
Goodridge brakelines

My stoppingpower went from 1680 to 4560 !!
(perhaps old was bad to, but a big improvement)

Image

After this my audio was created. Together with a friend we started as two noobs making an audio layout
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

In the meanwhile I've destoyed 1 woofer (after 2 weeks already) and 2 amps.
The newest amp
Image
Image

The woofer is a bit large at the moment but who knows what will happen in the future.

Next up: New wheels !
Searching for over 6 months to find the wheels that I was really fund of. In the end I've found them in Belgium and so far I've only seen one Toyota Celica with thesame rims. Uniquenesss

After making the nailsfield a littlebit better on the audio it was time to buy some bumpers.. Bumpers as in Rice ??
Yes bumpers as in Rice

I like them so worked hard, saved up money and bought a nice kit.
But... it didn't stop there. Of course the car had to be repainted.

So..
Repaint in Panther Black which is a metallic black with some blue sparkles in it.

Image
Image
Image

And off to the painter.
These nice guys did some more things.
ANGRY Eye mod on the hatch !!! :welder:
Image

no more sidemarkers
Image

rearbumper adapted a bit
Image

Hood with scoop and evil look
Image

Skirts molded
Image

And of course the hatch
Image
Image
Image

Huh? What's this... a hole in the trunk?
Image

Ow yeah.. for these baby's... Like it or hate it :) :welder:
Image

Finished after painting and stuff
Image
Image

At that time my car was valued at 15,500 euro.

After the painting job I went to live in San Diego for a while so my project back in the Netherlands come to a pauze.

Of course living in the US has its advantages so parts collecting started.
Walbro fuelpomp

Thermal spacers
Image

MSD window switches for vris control
Image

Magnecor leads
Image

Millenia alternator
Image

Aasco 9lb fly
Image

Clutch line
Image

And some laughing stuff
Image
Image

Back in the Netherlands all those things had to be installed of course.
When taking the clutch off for the flywheel it appeard the clutch was already smoked !! :crying:
The MF>LKJ sold me cheap *ss ebay clutch that was worn out within 1,5 year /25k.

So the ClutchMasters stage 3 had to take it's place and be resistant enough against the nitrous vailance.

Then I did some more wiring stuff
Image

Image

Image

some separte fuseboxes for aftermarket stuff

Image

Image
Image

Bought a rear seat of the second gen (like it better)
Image

Image

Put a different testpipe under the car
Image

Bought a SRD ebrake cover ~ and redid the armrest
Image

Then I bought some seats Which are sooooo good :love2:
Image

And started working on my intake manifold
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Image
Image
Image
Image

Which now is bling bling
Image
Image

Fixing the stupid throttle leaver
Image

Installing my AST coilover set (bought 2nd hand, because new they are like 1700/2000 euro!! :freak: )
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Some believe in it, others don´t. A cyclone for the intake

And some random pictures

Image

Megasquirt installing which is a b..ch
Image
Image
Image
Image

And it still doesnt run good.

I´ve tried to reburn the firmware which was a fail.
My megasquirt and laptop can´t seem to communicate properly.

Anyway, more stuff

5th gear mx6
Image

Pacesetter headers
Image

Interprep spings ~DE retainers
Image
Image

Today, with some help of a forummember of the Netherlands, we put in the radiator with the slimfans and the front crossmember.

The tiebar and swaybar were hard to reach and unbolt so that will be done when the Pacesetter headers will be put on.

Finally got my car to my city.

It was at a garage for 7 weeks, and still nothing was done !!
I was fed up with it and had to take it home on a trailer. (which almost cost my my rearbumper and exhaust because it was too low).

Anyway; finally got around to work on it a bit.

Installed the doorhandles and I love it :)
